A table of signature dishes and cocktails at Aruna

Aruna · Restaurante

Sol
naciente,

served on a plate.

Modern Mexican cuisine cooked over open fire — heirloom corn, coastal catch and mezcal, in a room built for long evenings.

Nuestra historia

Aruna means the first light of the rising sun.

We cook Mexico the way we remember it at dawn: quiet markets, nixtamal steaming, chiles blistering on a comal.

Every dish begins with whole ingredients — heirloom corn ground each morning, fish landed the same day, salsas built by hand.

The kitchen is contemporary; the roots are not negotiable. Our mole rests for three days. Our tortillas never leave the comal for longer than a minute. And our mezcal comes from families we visit ourselves.
